The Sandersville Railroad serves key industries in Middle Georgia, including several international kaolin, forest products, and plastics companies.
With five locomotives, two boosters and more than 400 hundred railcars, we keep our customers on track by being the solution they need to transport all kinds of freight and commodities.
Our customers have access to an extensive modern fleet through our subsidiary Sandersville Leasing, Inc.
Our transloading site is a fenced, nine-acre tract of land with a 29-railcar spot. It’s well-suited for the outdoor storage of lumber, and truck scales are available onsite.
Sandersville Railroad has capacity available for empty and loaded railcar storage in addition to other storage facilities. Please contact us with questions.
Strategically located at Georgia State Route 15 and Fall Line Freeway (GA 540), our right-of-way has prime industrial development sites that feature easy access to electric, water, and sewer and Internet services.
