The Sandersville Railroad fleet consists of five locomotives and two boosters and over four hundred railcars. Covered hoppers and chip hoppers are just some of the equipment currently available for transporting your freight or commodities.

Locomotives
The Sandersville Railroad has four EMD SW 1500 (SAN 1100, 1300, 1400, and 1500) and one EMD SW 1200 (SAN 1200) locomotives plus two boosters (SAN 90 and 91).

Railcars
The railcar fleet consists of three hundred thirty-eight 4,000 cubic foot, lined covered hoppers.
These cars are ideal for bulk commodities like kaolin, sand, soda ash, and calcium carbonate. The Sandersville
Railroad owns seventy 7,526 cubic foot wood chip cars that can be unloaded by rotary dump or by the
bottom discharge gates.
